Name: ALBERT E. BADDIN Albert
E. Baddin, 89, of Duluth, died Monday, July 22, 2002, in St. Luke's Hospice. Albert
was born in Chicago to Louis and Jennie (Siegel) Baddin. Albert graduated
from DePaul Law School and the College of Jewish Studies in Chicago. After
serving in the Army during WWII for four years, Albert moved to Duluth in
1945 and practiced law until his retirement in 1998. Albert was a member of
Adas Israel Congregation. He
is preceded in death by a brother Melvin and a sister Alice Lampert. Surviving
are his wife Jane of 60 years; three sons, Michael A. (Michelle) of Duluth,
Neal W. (Gayle) and Sanford S. (Peggy) of Los Angeles, CA.; five
grandchildren, Sara, Ryan, Josh, Jenny and Melissa; several nieces and
nephews, and many good friends. SERVICES:
Graveside service will be 11 AM today (Wednesday), in Adas Israel Cemetery on
Howard Gnesen Road and Martin Road. Shiva will take place at 7 PM today in
the residence of Michael Baddin, 716 Everett St. Memorials to donor's choice

Name: Jane Baddin Milavetz MN
United States Jane
(Milavetz) Baddin, 92, of Duluth, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Lakeshore.
She was born July 6, 1914 in Duluth to Samuel and Sarah Milavetz. She was a graduate
of Central High School. Jane married Albert Baddin on Aug. 23, 1942. She was
a lifelong resident of Duluth except during the mid 1930's when she attended
and graduated with a master's degree in education in 1937 from Northwestern
University in Evanston, Ill. She taught school in Chicago and in the Duluth
area until the end of World War II when she assumed the role of Office
Manager for the Law Office of Albert Baddin, where she remained for the next
50 years. Jane was a lifetime member of Adas Israel Congregation in Duluth
and of Hadassah. She was a prolific reader and a master of the crossword
puzzle. She also enjoyed the symphony, broadway musicals and the Sunday
pontoon ride at the lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in
2002; parents; and sister, Ruth Barth. Jane is survived by her sons, Sanford
(Peggy), Neal (Gayle) both of Los Angeles, Calif., Michael (Michelle) of
Duluth; five grandchildren, Sara and Ryan Baddin of Los Angeles, Calif.,
Joshua Baddin of Fargo, N.D., Jennifer Baddin of Minneapolis, and Melissa
Baddin of Duluth; niece, Marilyn (Sheldon) Goldflam; nephew, Stuart Barth;
and many relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at
Lakeshore, St. Luke's Hospice and friend Leslie. SERVICE:11 a.m. Friday at
Adas Israel Cemetery, Howard Gnesen Rd. Memorials are preferred to the
Recording for the Blind, Adas Israel Congregation and the American Cancer
